For the best results, make sure your hair is at least a quarter-inch long (about the size of a grain of rice)—this usually means waiting 2–3 weeks after your last shave. We also recommend gently exfoliating the area 24 hours before your visit and avoiding heavy lotions on the day of your appointment.
